QUIKCHLOR RP30HD User Manual

Looking for the QuikChlor RP 30 HD user manual? Yea, I was too. I have added a link below for you to download the manual for yourself.

This type of QuikChlor unit is being sold as a private-label brand by Shasta Pool in Scottsdale AZ. Clevaquip of Australia is the manufacturer and the equipment is also sold under following private-label brands: AquaPower-Plus, Clevachlor, and Poolpower.

Our salt cell hasn’t been used for years so we’re doing the same as the previous home owners and use it as a chlorine pool. We have had more than one recommendation to stay away from the salt water pools, most people saying the maintenance and cost wasn’t worth it in the long run. I think next year we may give it a try and see what the big fuss is all about. I still maintain that the benefit to your skin from the salt water pool would outweigh the costs.

We recently bought a 9 year old house in Phoenix, AZ which included a Shasta Pool. It also included a QuikChlor Salt Chlorinator pool controller. Of course everything was in code so I needed to track down the manual. Finding it wasn’t easy which is why I’ve placed it below. Enjoy!

Did you ever convert it back to salt? Was it expensive? Is it better than the chlorine? Sorry for all the questions.

    Hi Teri!

No, we’re still on chlorine. The Hayward pump gave out last year and because new laws had been passed in Arizona, we had to purchase a more expensive variable speed pump. It’s possible we may convert it back, I was quoted about $1,400 to transition to salt. I can say that my Dad has a salt water pool and the post-swim experience is far better than chlorine. You don’t have the chemical smell and also your skin doesn’t dry out as quickly. The salt water is better for your skin.

I have a used quikchlor model 30RP HD controller that I just removed. Not sure if someone out there is looking for one. Let me know. I have decided to switch to chlorine due to fact that the pump has to be running for the system to make chlorine.
